A year at our school

Excursions are an exciting part of our learning experience, giving students hands-on opportunities to explore, discover and connect with the world beyond the classroom. Through carefully planned trips, we enrich curriculum learning, promote teamwork and inspire curiosity. We are committed to providing safe, educational and enjoyable outings for all students.

Our students shine both on the big stage through opportunities like CAPERS, Eisteddfod and other performance events, as well as on smaller stages with class items and assemblies. These experiences nurture creativity, confidence and teamwork while showcasing their talents to the wider community. We celebrate every step of their artistic journey and the joy of performing together.

Our students proudly represent our school in a range of sports, developing teamwork, sportsmanship and healthy competition. Through local and regional events, they build skills, confidence and school spirit while striving for their personal best.

We come together as a school community to honour and respect important occasions such as ANZAC Day, Harmony Day, NAIDOC Week and Remembrance Day. These moments help us reflect on our shared history, celebrate diversity and promote understanding and unity.

Our school provides a supportive environment where students explore and develop new skills across all areas of learning. We encourage curiosity, creativity and confidence to help every student reach their potential.

We proudly celebrate the achievements and milestones of our students, recognising their growth, effort and success throughout their learning journey.

We’ve loved having our children at Hillvue Public School, from the pre-kindergarten transition program through to year 6. Hillvue has created wonderful memories, strong connections and a genuine love of learning. The school’s exceptional leadership supports students in all areas, helping them discover and pursue their individual goals. Hillvue is a welcoming, safe and friendly community—a true second family. We especially appreciate the targeted support classes, PLP initiatives and diverse opportunities in sport, dance, art, drama and cultural programs.
